Apr 24, Steven Peterson rated it really liked it. Alexander Luria was a great figure in several areas of intellectual endeavor. For me, his greatest value is in his study of the brain. This is fairly well written, reasonably accessible, and filled with research-based insights. There is discussion of how different parts of the brain function and what their contributions are to behavior.

It's a fantastic book, and well worth reading but the organization seemed a little unwieldy after his brilliant and succinct case studies.
